The meaning and symbolism behind our logo...

1.)  The cross is at the center where it should be!  2.)  Upon the cross is the number one, for their is ONE God and the same God who sits  upon the throne in Heaven came to earth and went to the cross as a man.  3.) The cross is purple, symbolic of royalty.  For Christ alone was worthy to die upon the cross seeing as He is alone the divine royalty and Lord of all Glory!  4.)  The multi colored (rainbow) cloven (split) tongue of fire represents the Pentecostal experience of Acts two. It's multi-colored stripes speak to the fact that God has promised to pour out of His Spirit upon ALL flesh.  The rainbow or multi-colored stripes are used as symbols of the grace of our God and the diversity of His people.  God's church is ONE church, comprised of many different people from many different places and life experiences. 

Synopsis:  We are all able to approach God because He Himself went to the cross, the only ONE worthy to do so.  The ONE Church celebrates the diversity of God's church and welcomes ALL who seek to know the Lord Jesus Christ in truth. This is the meaning of our logo.  We use rainbow symbols throughout our website to make clear our message of welcome for all people and the diversity of God's church.  We do not apologize for the sybolism we use or for the message that it represents.
